Ecuador History & Culture Classes
Join Martha Mays for a fun and fact-filled class about Ecuador and its culture. This class covers 12,000 years of the history of the (geographic) area we now call Ecuador and its unique and varied cultures. In addition, the class includes information about some North, Central and South American History including the Inca Empire, and Spanish Colonial Period. The majority of the information concentrates on Ecuador’s history from 1800 to present day.
Choose one of three formats:
One-day five-hour “History-Lite”: Class is offered February 7th, 9th, 14th, or 16th, starting at 11:00, and ending at 5:00 with a one-hour lunch break. Cost is $35
Two-day five-hour “History-Lite” Class split into two 2.5 hours days. The class is offered February 7th & 8th, or, February 14th and 15th, starting at 11:00, ending at 1:30.
Six Day, 12-hour Full/Original class: Class is offered M, W & F for two consecutive weeks, February 18, 20, 22, 25, 27, & March 1st. Choose 10:30 to 12:30 OR 2:00 to 4:00. Cost is $65.
