In this issue, FAAN (Fundacion Familia Amor Animal) has a special feature on adopting a dog and your new best friend, including three very special doglets looking right now for their Fur-ever home; Your invitation to our Christmas in July Celebration at IdiomArt on July 25th and a sneak preview of Cuenca’s event of the season “GALA-FAAN-TASTICA on October 7th.

In this edition, there are also Five-FAAN Facts about our Foundation and as always, a special spotlight on the volunteers, businesses, and donors who are working tirelessly to make Cuenca known as the “City that Cares.” At FAAN, we’re inching closer to our dream of dramatically improving animal welfare, yet have a long way to go to purchase the land, build the new shelter and move our dogs by the end of the year. This project hand in hand with our education program and evidence-based prevention strategies. We’re also looking for DOG Parents like you, who maybe can’t own your own pet or have too many of your own, but would love to support one of the 150 adorable FAAN dogs in our care through your monthly donation.
