And while Halloween is catching on in Ecuador and you can find a grinning, fluorescent plastic jack-o lantern almost anywhere, trying to tastefully decorate for your Thanksgiving table can be difficult.
What to do? Join Hearts of Gold on Monday, October 16 from 1 to 3 pm for an autumn wreath-making workshop! Your $25.00 provides you with all materials to make a wreath or table centerpiece from silk and natural materials, while supporting our work for our partner organizations. The workshop will be held at the Hearts of Gold office (the same location as the Cuenca Soup Kitchen), Calle Chimborazo near Esmeraldas, behind the La Gloria Stadium.
