The Alianza Francesa of Cuenca invites you to a French band concert: Gabacho Maroc-
November 14th, 8 PM, Teatro Sucre – Free entrance
The music of Gabacho Maroc shapes a dialogue between western, African and eastern instruments. All of the seven musicians enhance their music thanks to their cultural background, from Spain, Morocco and France, leading them towards a joyful communion. Their festive and colorful style combines world music, jazz and traditional gnaoui, among others.
The band played in more than 100 festivals in 4 years, all over Europe, Africa, South America and Asia. They were nominated in the African Music Awards of 2015, and are now preparing their second album “Tazassol”. Their project is constantly going beyond many horizons, renewing the idea of fusion.
