Horseback Riding this weekend….

August 19, 2018 all-day

Rancho Patococha is offering another awesome horse riding trek this weekend.

Spend your day in this ” Hidden Gem ” of landscape and fauna, rolling hills with magnificent views, and an unforgettable experience of riding with the family of one of Cuencas legendary horse trainers.

These treks are only available during the weekends and spaces are limited to eight riders, both experienced and novice riders are welcome. Your horses are matched to your riding ability so please advise us of this so Pata can saddle the appropriate horse for you.

You will be picked up around 8am on Sunday for the one hour drive from Cuenca and up into the hills to Rancho Patococha, a working dairy farm and training centre of polo horses.

Your horse ride is of approximately two hours, and on your return to the ranch you will have coffee/tea and refreshments, it will be time to just sit down and relax on the outside deck, take a tour of the property and the house that is full of equestrian memorabilia.

Make a special note to see the tack room before Pato closes it after the trek , with bridles and saddles from around the world, a unique room and a must see.

It can get chilly up there, we recommend boots and suitable riding attire, wet gear is supplied.

Price: all inclusive $50
