idiomART’s Friday Salon is a wonderful way to learn more about art, culture, and history in Ecuador, plus socialize with new and old friends. This week, Virtuoso Singer-Guitarist Luis Ullauri will be offering, “Songs and Stories of My Youth”.
Luis will share about the music of the 70’s and 80’s in Ecuador, how it reflected the political and financial turmoil experienced in the country. And how the music shaped the culture of the times. If you have ever seen in Luis in concert, he often shares about the background of the Latin music he plays – for the Salon he is offering a more personal and in-depth reflection.
Each Friday session costs $10. Coffee, tea and snacks included.
No Reservation needed.
10:30 a.m. to Noon (Doors open at 10 a.m.)
idiomART is located at Presidente Córdova 1-77, between Manuel Vega and Miguel Angel Estrella, in el Centro.
