SHAMBHALA TRAINING WORKSHOPS Levels 1, 2, 3
The workshops provide a strong foundation in mindfulness-awareness meditation practice, emphasizing the development of genuineness, confidence, humour, and dignity within the complexity of daily life. The workshops are recommended for new and experienced meditators, as well as for those looking to enrich their existing spiritual path.
BIOGRAPHY of Shastri Donna Williams. Shastri Williams has taught in the Shambhala tradition for many years. She presently has been developing a Contemplative Ecology program and is enjoying the forests and mountains of her home in Vermont, where she is the Shastri (senior teacher) at the White River Shambhala Center. For the past 12 years she has spent time in Santiago and Copiapo, Chile teaching and staffing programs. Her interests include gardening and growing native dyeplants, practicing Shibori (a Japanese-inspired textile art), and maintaining her 150 year old house in Bradford Vermont. Her three grown children live in the West and she hopes to spend more time “out” there.
