Listings and Contact Forms
CuencaHighLife offers contact forms on business listings that provided an email address when the listing was created. Contact forms are submitted through the CuencaHighLife servers and delivered directly to the email address on file for the listing owner. CuencaHighLife may store contact information such as email addresses or phone numbers entered in the contact form for purposes of improving this service. Improvements include but are not limited to reducing spam and fake form submissions and improving delivery time of the submissions.
The approval of all comments on the CuencaHighLife website is at the discretion of the moderators. We appreciate and encourage a vigorous debate in our article comments sections. To maintain a constructive and civil discourse, however, we have established rules of engagement. Comments should always be relevant to the article they are posted to, or to a legitimate tangent thereof. Disagreements between commenters are acceptable as long as they focus on issues in the article or tangents thereof, not on the personalities of commenters. We do not allow racial, religious or sexual orientation slurs or remarks questioning the sanity or intelligence of commenters. Comments that comprise a private discussion between commenters are never appropriate. Attacks on individuals and businesses, unless they are in reference to information cited in an article, are not appropriate. Profanity is discouraged although it is not banned if the comment in which it is contained conforms to the policy.
We will include classified notices of personal experiences, positive and negative, about services or products advertised on CHL. The posts must refer strictly to the personal experience of the poster and not include broad generalities about quality of the services or products in question. In the case of negative comments, we will not include complaints that make legal allegations, such as “fraud,” “illegal activities,”, etc. These allegations need to be sent privately to CHL and, if they can be confirmed, the site managers will remove the offending posts and block similar ones in the future.
