I have been writing to ask for your help to offset the costs of the surgery for her brain aneurysm. What was not known was that her doctor had warned her that with all the blood vessels in this area, there is a possibility that she could end up paralyzed on her entire left side and would require extensive, long-term physical therapy to even talk and walk again.
Well, the surgery was Tuesday and she came through with flying colors! On Thursday she was able to send me a video, and although she asked me to not show anyone the picture because she looked awful, she actually looked amazingly good even with a huge bandage running down the left side of her head. I don’t yet know what her recovery will entail, but I just wanted to thank all the wonderful people who showed how much you cared by donating to help her. Not only did the financial help remove some of the stress of this horrid situation, but it also provided emotional support, knowing that so many people cared. So THANK YOU to all of you who proved you have Hearts of Gold!
