La Residence Vilcabamba offers the compassionate and trusted care for your elderly loved ones.
The facility offers long-term care services for senior citizens in a small, quiet facility in Barrio La Florida, Vilcabamba. They also offer short-term care with day rates for those recovering from surgery, hospitalization, or other injury.
They have six private rooms (just 2 available right now), three with private baths, all comfortably appointed with large windows and natural light. There’s an open-air dining room, a garden area, and a comfortable lounge where residents can socialize.
The facility is run by Sonia Capa, a certified nurse and physical therapist, with on-site medical care provided by a physician. They prepare nutritious meals to suit each person’s taste and dietary needs. They also offer physical and occupational therapy, as well as group activities.
Sonia and her staff have a great deal of experience caring for Alzheimers and dementia patients in a manner that recognizes their humanity and respects their personal preferences. The facility is equipped for dementia patients to navigate safely.

But the latest addition to the menu was over the top and is my new menu favorite! Filet Minion with a Chipotle/lemongrass sauce. Cooked to perfection and oh so good! And garlic mashed potatoes to boot!
It’s our favorite go to spot, for parties, birthdays and any special occasion. Not to mention just a casual meal anytime. Great food! Great hosts, great atmosphere! What more could you ask for?!
