Great care is taken to make sure that they get exactly what they need. Any extra items are sold in Esperanza Thrift Shop, where all of the proceeds go back into directly supporting the foundation’s work of helping those in need.

The bed is reversible and washable with a heavy duty zipper that allows you to remove the pillow insert and place the bed in the washer.
The bed is in excellent condition and was just washed. We originally paid a ridiculous $300 for the bed, but are willing to part with it for just $175. We’ve found nothing in Cuenca that compares. The closest that we have found was a smaller (110 cm) Cozy Dog Bed in Quito for $100 and given the materials it will never last as long as this bed. To truly appreciate the quality and comfort of this bed you really need to see and lie in it.

He did the work of 2 men easily in moving me, speaks excellent English as he lived and worked in the United States and is extremely warm, knowledgeable and conscientious.
