Tomorrow Saturday, December 4, the Rotaract Tumibamba team invites you to the Mujeres que Impactan craft fair, which aims to boost the businesses of 38 women entrepreneurs of different nationalities with a common goal: success.
At this fair organized by Rotaract Club Tumipamba, you can taste desserts, buy beautiful handicrafts and learn much more about various services.
This fair is based on the idea that female entrepreneurship can break with social prejudices about women’s actual capacities for business.
With this event, the Rotaract Tumibampa team encourages all women to set themselves great goals. The group accompanied them to strengthen their brand through marketing strategies, product photographs, and finally, a fair to be held at the headquarters of the Rotary Club Tomebamba.

Dear Cuenca Community
Shambhala Cuenca would like to invite you to meditate together from your home this Sunday at 10.30 am and any other time you feel stressed or depressed.. There are many forms and methods of meditation – the form you choose doesn’t matter, however it’s a very good thing to remember our shared humanity as we sit quietly and become mindful for a period of time.
Online meditation sessions with Shambhala are available free. Contact us for specific links.
If you would like to use it, the form we use at Shambhala Cuenca is outlined below, and you can search “Donna Williams Meditation” and “Pema Chodron Guided Meditation” for instructions on YouTube, or contact us for instructions.
My name is Gustav Lehstmann and I am a geography student from Germany at the University of Hamburg. I am currently writing my bachelor thesis on the integration of retirees from the Global North in Cuenca, Ecuador. I came up with this idea because I did a year of voluntary service in Riobamba and visited Cuenca several times.
This survey is about the coexistence between Ecuadorian and foreign society in Cuenca. Its questions address various aspects of everyday life and aim to find out what type of integration is present. The questionnaire includes about 34 questions, varying slightly depending on your selected answers. Accordingly, the editing time is about 5-10 min.
In the context of my thesis, I chose this medium to survey people both because of the pandemic and moreover because I think that most foreigners are very well connected online.
The information obtained as a result of this survey will be treated confidentially and anonymously and used exclusively for the purpose of the Bachelor thesis. In order for the survey to be carried out successfully, it is important that the questionnaire is answered in complete form.
Thank you for participating!
