Great care is taken to make sure that they get exactly what they need. Any extra items are sold in Esperanza Thrift Shop, where all of the proceeds go back into directly supporting the foundation’s work of helping those in need.
Are you moving soon – perhaps across town or maybe even back home – and you have items that you can’t take with you? Do you wish you had someone to come carry away those items remaining after your moving sale, that you don’t know what to do with? Were you just spring-cleaning last week, and came across clothes in your closets that you no longer wanted? Meet Blondie! This beautiful little girl was found in the rain in Baños on April 27th. She was shivering and very skinny. She was scared and hungry – couldn’t look away. She is a big lover! She is petit lady, weighing 16lbs and is approximately 1.5 years old. She’s a big cuddle bug, loves to lay in your lap and give kisses. I had her checked out at the vet. She’s treated for fleas and parasites, but appears to be in great health. She’s already gained weight since I picked her up.
She has had babies before so she will be spayed prior to adoption. Gets along with other dogs and cats. Loves to play, but being a young dog, over all she is surprisingly calm. She plays fetch and loves a good chew toy. She walks on a leash and doing very well with it. She appears to be potty trained as well. She did bark at another small dog on the street once, not sure why. I can recommend a trainer if needed. But she is lovely with my large dog and 2 cats. No issues at all at home. She seems friendly with all, including kids. If you’re offering a lap, she’s ready to cuddle.
She will make someone so happy. I’d keep her if I could! She’s a real gem and will be a lovely companion to the right person.
