Above and Beyond: True Stories of Client Commitment
A week ago, I had the opportunity to confirm my true commitment to my clients. Policy, I always emphasize to my clients: that if you need anything, call me at any time, any day. No, it’s not a sales pitch; it’s the reality. Let me share an example from the last week, which was incredibly intense. Thursday was particularly eventful. The day started with a call from my dear Silvita Pinos, an excellent facilitator. One of our clients had fallen and hit her head. She was immediately attended to in the emergency room of the private hospital she had chosen. Fortunately, it wasn’t anything serious, and the best part was, my client didn’t have to pay a dime, her insurance (BMI) covered everything. The second case was more complicated. “Jill” had fallen, split her eyebrow open, and had a bruised eye. She was taken to Monte Sinaà ER, and when I arrived, they were preparing to suture her wound. She gripped my hand tightly, clearly very scared. Thankfully, it wasn’t too complicated. Jill spent a day under observation and was then sent home. As the day was coming to a close, at 7 PM, Linda was in the ER, too. When I arrived, she was in unbearable pain. After consulting with the attending physician, we discovered she had gallstones and needed immediate surgery. During the surgery, the doctors also found she had “twisted gut.” She’s doing great now. In this way, I fulfilled my promise to be there for my clients when they needed me most. Actions speak louder than words.
