An opportunity to help a family in need

If you have any gently used items you no longer need—clothes, jackets, shoes, luggage, small electronics, household goods, or even those “dust collectors”—please consider donating them to Jenny Alvarez.

Jenny is an Ecuadorian hardworking single mother of three who supports her family by selling affordable secondhand items outside Feria Libre. Zero help from the absent father. Every dollar she earns goes toward feeding her children—and even helping care for the many stray dogs in the community.

If you have items to donate, there are several easy options:
• Jenny can take the bus to you
• You can deliver items directly to her at Feria Libre
• Or I’m happy to pick them up and make sure they get to her. I’ll even send you a picture of the handoff

This is a truly meaningful cause, and I’m glad to volunteer my time and resources to help make it easier.

If you’d prefer to drop items off, message me for a map of exactly where to find her, or meet her next to Feria Libre at the Tia/Titan store. She is standing outside of Feria Libre from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, rain or shine, on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
