ABOUT THE ROLE
The Cuenca Care Foundation (CCF) is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Executive Director to lead the launch and growth of an innovative, medically supervised, bilingual home health care organization.
This role combines:
• Healthcare leadership
• Business development
• Non-profit management

CORE SERVICES
• Pre- and post-hospital care
• Companionship and assistance with daily living
• Palliative and hospice care
• Emergency response systems
• Community education and outreach

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide strategic and visionary leadership
• Oversee day-to-day operations and organizational growth
• Ensure regulatory compliance
• Build community and healthcare partnerships
• Lead fundraising, budgeting, and financial sustainability
• Recruit and manage a multidisciplinary team

BUSINESS & NON-PROFIT LEADERSHIP FOCUS
• Business planning and financial management
• Non-profit leadership and donor engagement
• Organizational strategy and scalable growth
• Startup mindset with long-term sustainability focus
• Process development and customer service

QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Master’s in public health, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or Non-Profit Management strongly preferred
• Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience
• Experience in home health or community-based care preferred
• Experience with expat and local communities strongly preferred
• Proven success in fundraising, budgeting, and organizational development
Skills & Attributes
• Strong business acumen and financial leadership
• Excellent communication and public-speaking skills
• Strong team-building abilities
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) strongly preferred
• Cultural sensitivity and adaptability

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
• Based in Cuenca, Ecuador
• Regular local travel
• Occasional evenings and weekends
• Flexible, mission-driven environment
