Thank you for attending – Gala FAAN-TASTICA Old Hollywood

Thank you to all of our guests and volunteers at Gala FAAN-TASTICA, Old Hollywood Saturday Night. You looked and are amazing! It will take our FAAN volunteer team a few days to clear out our auction house and calculate the final tally of dollars raised for the new sanctuary as donations continue to be received and we collect auction payments.

Special gratitude to our artists, businesses, individuals, and the core Gala Volunteer Team (you know who you are), who were so generous in creating a gala extravaganza, and to those of you who have and continue to donate at whatever level you can to realize this vision to build the most modern animal sanctuary in Ecuador and indeed South America.

A newcomer to Cuenca who runs galas and non-profits around the world told me last night we should have tracked and put a dollar number on all of the volunteer hours committed to making Cuenca “The City that Cares,” via the gala. I can honestly say, if we did an audit of volunteer hours, the sanctuary would be built!
Contribution of time is perhaps the greatest gift of all, and between our young and beautiful volunteer team at the gala and all of the volunteers organizing and behind the scenes, you are each and together “Super Humans” for the “SuperDogs”
