I met Celso Guaman when I needed someone to help me move inexpensively. He did the work of 2 men easily in moving me, speaks excellent English as he lived and worked in the United States and is extremely warm, knowledgeable and conscientious. Since then I’ve rented an apartment from his lovely wife and found him to be an excellent Mr. Fixit, able to perform any and all handyman chores with confidence and experience. I recommend him highly!

What does Hogar de Esperanza do with your donations of clothing and household items? First and foremost, we give them away to those who are most in need of them. Great care is taken to make sure that they get exactly what they need. Any extra items are sold in Esperanza Thrift Shop, where all of the proceeds go back into directly supporting the foundation’s work of helping those in need.
Are you moving soon – perhaps across town or maybe even back home – and you have items that you can’t take with you?
