THE REGULATION OF THE HUMAN MOBILITY LAW, which we have waited so long for, is only expected to be published in the Official Registry so that it becomes effective.
The last paragraph of Article 84 of the Regulation establishes that “For purposes of continuity of permanence, the foreign person may not leave the country for more than ninety (90) days during the entire period of validity of the temporary residence visa”

If your visa has expired and you are irregular, pay attention to the following recommendation:
DO NOT pay any penalty at Immigration, because if you do, they will give you 30 days to leave the country. Currently, the payment of the penalty does not guarantee that you can apply for a visa, you must leave the country.
If you are irregular but have plans to apply for a visa, wait, there will be a new date for regularization very soon. After the provision for regularization is published, you will be able to pay the penalty.

The Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social (IESS) has been essential for healthcare in Ecuador, but it is currently facing significant challenges that affect its service quality. You can spend 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 years or more trying to speak decent Spanish without being aware of what you are missing, why it doesn’t flow.
You can learn by trial and error but I already tested this “method” and it just “works” until you are in front of a native speaker and… well, you draw a blank…

What does Hogar de Esperanza do with your donations of clothing and household items? First and foremost, we give them away to those who are most in need of them. Great care is taken to make sure that they get exactly what they need. Any extra items are sold in Esperanza Thrift Shop, where all of the proceeds go back into directly supporting the foundation’s work of helping those in need.
Are you moving soon – perhaps across town or maybe even back home – and you have items that you can’t take with you? Do you wish you had someone to come carry away those items remaining after your moving sale, that you don’t know what to do with? ALL CATEGORIES OF TEMPORARY VISA HAVE NO RESTRICTION OF STAY IN ECUADOR. To apply and to obtain the Permanent Visa, the Law in art. 63 establishes that the foreigner must stay 21 continuous months in Ecuador. On this continuity, the Regulation to the Law in art. 84 in the last paragraph, grants the foreigner 90 days to be outside the country within the two years of temporary residence.

In the month of September of last year, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a resolution through which, as of September 1ST, Venezuelan citizens who are irregular in Ecuador, could register on the website estoyaqui.ec, and after that registration they could apply for a temporary visa.
The same resolution is provided for the citizens of the rest of the nationalities as of November 16th, 2022, the same registration can be made at the same website estoyaqui.ec, but unfortunately there is still not an option for obtaining any type of visa.
According to officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Azogues, the Quito offices are working to draw up a regulation that allows people of other nationalities that are not Venezuelans to obtain a visa, fulfilling the requirement of registration on the aforementioned site.
According to the Department of Migration, the registration of foreign citizens who are irregular in Ecuador can be done until August 31, 2023.
If you are irregular at the moment, go and register on the website estoyaqui.ec, this will be a requirement for your visa application, or if you want to leave Ecuador the registration certificate the Migration department provides you will be enough so that you can be exempt from any migratory penalty.
