FAAN (Fundacion Familia Amor) a community member and friend to all animals needs your help in making a wish and dream come true.
We have two adorable, well-behaved adult girls, Sophie and Maisey who desperately need new foster and/or forever homes by Monday as their Mom returns to the US.
If you have room in your heart and your home to be a foster or adoption family and live within six hours of Cuenca, FAAN will bring the girls to you and provide full adoption support including a stipend for their health care.
Both dogs have lived a beautiful life in the countryside with their mama. No puppy aggravation and lots of love from both, healthy girls (age approximately six) who are house-trained and great companions. Sophie and Maisey are a bonded pair but we will consider independent adoptions.
The girls are used to living in the house and having access to a fenced-in yard. They are friendly and get along with people and other pets.
Because the girls are accustomed to their own family and home, the FAAN shelter would not be a good placement for the girls. They need and deserve a home to call their own.
If you can’t consider permanent adoption, please consider foster care until we can match our ladies with a forever home.

You can help FAAN (Fundación Familia Amor Animal) on our important mission this week. We have the most adorable, adult dogs who are well-behaved inside and outside, loving, great with other dogs, and ready for adoption.
We have an urgent deadline, September 1st to foster and/or adopt the girls before their Mom leaves the country.
Sophie and Maisey, both rescued from horrible conditions in Ecuador are now in need of a second chance for love with a family. Our dear friend who has rescued animals here in Ecuador for many years is bringing three pets back to the US with her, but has been faced with the impossible choice of leaving the girls behind.
These girls should not be placed in the FAAN shelter because they are used to living with a family in their own home and would not do well in a pack setting. Maisey is a 6-year-old poodle/terrier mix and Sophie (5 years old) is a mixed breed which makes her an original.
If you open your heart and home to one or both of the girls, FAAN will offer complete adoption services including transportation with 6 hours of Cuenca and a stipend for food and medical care.
