ALL CATEGORIES OF TEMPORARY VISA HAVE NO RESTRICTION OF STAY IN ECUADOR. To apply and to obtain the Permanent Visa, the Law in art. 63 establishes that the foreigner must stay 21 continuous months in Ecuador. On this continuity, the Regulation to the Law in art. 84 in the last paragraph, grants the foreigner 90 days to be outside the country within the two years of temporary residence.

In the month of September of last year, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a resolution through which, as of September 1ST, Venezuelan citizens who are irregular in Ecuador, could register on the website estoyaqui.ec, and after that registration they could apply for a temporary visa.
The same resolution is provided for the citizens of the rest of the nationalities as of November 16th, 2022, the same registration can be made at the same website estoyaqui.ec, but unfortunately there is still not an option for obtaining any type of visa.
According to officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Azogues, the Quito offices are working to draw up a regulation that allows people of other nationalities that are not Venezuelans to obtain a visa, fulfilling the requirement of registration on the aforementioned site.
According to the Department of Migration, the registration of foreign citizens who are irregular in Ecuador can be done until August 31, 2023.
If you are irregular at the moment, go and register on the website estoyaqui.ec, this will be a requirement for your visa application, or if you want to leave Ecuador the registration certificate the Migration department provides you will be enough so that you can be exempt from any migratory penalty.

What does Hogar de Esperanza do with your donations of clothing and household items? First and foremost, we give them away to those who are most in need of them. Great care is taken to make sure that they get exactly what they need. Any extra items are sold in Esperanza Thrift Shop, where all of the proceeds go back into directly supporting the foundation’s work of helping those in need.
Are you moving soon – perhaps across town or maybe even back home – and you have items that you can’t take with you? The bed is reversible and washable with a heavy duty zipper that allows you to remove the pillow insert and place the bed in the washer.
The bed is in excellent condition and was just washed. We originally paid a ridiculous $300 for the bed, but are willing to part with it for just $175. We’ve found nothing in Cuenca that compares. The closest that we have found was a smaller (110 cm) Cozy Dog Bed in Quito for $100 and given the materials it will never last as long as this bed. To truly appreciate the quality and comfort of this bed you really need to see and lie in it.

I met Celso Guaman when I needed someone to help me move inexpensively. He did the work of 2 men easily in moving me, speaks excellent English as he lived and worked in the United States and is extremely warm, knowledgeable and conscientious. Since then I’ve rented an apartment from his lovely wife and found him to be an excellent Mr. Fixit, able to perform any and all handyman chores with confidence and experience.
