What does Hogar de Esperanza do with your donations of clothing and household items? First and foremost, we give them away to those who are most in need of them. Great care is taken to make sure that they get exactly what they need. Any extra items are sold in Esperanza Thrift Shop, where all of the proceeds go back into directly supporting the foundation’s work of helping those in need.
Are you moving soon – perhaps across town or maybe even back home – and you have items that you can’t take with you? Do you wish you had someone to come carry away those items remaining after your moving sale, that you don’t know what to do with? From learning grammar first to trying to make progress by adding more vocabulary.
These are three things to avoid when learning a second language>
1) Don’t learn grammar first, learn the Spanish phonics first, but don’t get obsessed with them since that’s just the framework of the language.
2) Don’t add new vocabulary without linking them to new verbs. For example: money/ spend, charge, waste, etc.
Food/ cook, fry, freeze, etc.
3) Don’t use the traditional online translators to test your pronunciation (they are not intended for natives, so, you don’t want to sound like a robot, do you?. Ask YouTube help instead… How to pronounce “estadounidense” in Spanish. Yep! “estadounidense” is the Spanish word for “American”.

Poor Rex was rescued in a terrible state of malnutrition, with hormone problems, a serious ear infection and a burst eye. He was recently found to have a serious allergy problem with a solution – changing his food.
Rex is a large, older dog, and a lovely gentleman. Between his size, age and health, after four years, sadly, he is still with Carmita.
Rex’s doctor prescribed ProPlan Ultimates, which has made a tremendous difference. Rescate is a volunteer grassroots organization. $120/bag is more than they can carry on top of the cost of their charges. Rex needs at least four bags, and may need to stay on it forever.
Carmita took in a big dog I rescued, as we could not keep her. She worked with Sky for three years until her forever family adopted her into a loving, responsible home. We supported Sky in rescue and continue to make monthly donations. Rescate isn’t as high profile as other groups, but is just as deserving.

Spanish speakers from the Ecuadorian Coast speak faster than Andean speakers.
But the real reason why you perceive Spanish like that is because
>Spanish is a syllable timed language while English is a stress timed language (this is what makes you sound foreign while speaking Spanish).
The more you imitate the rhythm, the more you will sound like native Spanish native speakers.
The more you become familiar with its rhythm, the more you will feel confident to speak.
