Cuenca newcomer Rusty Wright joins local favorite Paco Lightfoot for a night of blues and storytelling. Before settling in Cuenca in September, Rusty Wright enjoyed an illustrious music career as a recording artist, performer and award winning songwriter with almost a dozen albums to his credit. The Rusty Wright Band performed on three continents and the band was inducted into the International Blues Hall of Fame in 2014. “Wonder Man” and “Hangin’ at the DeVille Lounge, Wright’s last two albums, were both Billboard Blues Chart Top 10 hits and Wright’s song “No Man is an Island” from the album Hangin’ at the DeVille Lounge spent weeks at #1 on the Hit Trax Top 100 chart and was awarded Best Song of the Year – All Genre – Original Music by the Red Carpet Music Awards in the Netherlands.
