Time for Spontaneous Trips’ 6th annual Inti Raymi Festival at Ingapirca on Sunday, June 21st. Join us on an English speaking guided tour through the Inca/Canar ruins, hike to the Cara del Inca, enjoy hours of dancers in a variety of different native costumes and dances. Munch on a large selection of local foods (plus restaurants for sit down dining). Local crafts are in abundance, including some of the best priced ponchos in Ecuador.
We leave Plaza Otorongo at 8:30 promptly, boarding our beautiful 50 seater bus with a professional, courteous driver. We arrive around 10:30 to walk up a short hill to the facility. (Transports available for those who cannot make this walk} Tours are at 11 and 11:15. After this, you are on your own to wander the property, visit the museum, hike, or sit and watch the dancers (starting at 1 usually). Terraced grass seating is available.
This is a PREPAY trip as I pay for the guides and the bus in advance. Price is a little higher this year (for you regulars) because fuel has increased 65% in cost. $20 includes all….no hassles or insecurities for you. There is a $2 age 65+ discount, and those who don’t want to do the ruins tour pay $15.
