Learn Esperanto — A New Language, A New Community
Have you ever wanted to learn a language that opens doors to new ways of thinking and connecting?
Created in 1887 by L. L. Zamenhof, Esperanto was designed as a politically neutral, easy-to-learn bridge language to foster international understanding. Today, hundreds of thousands of people worldwide speak it, creating a vibrant global culture of literature, music, and social groups.
Why Learn Esperanto?
• Fast & Accessible: Featuring completely regular grammar, zero irregular verbs, three tenses, and a modular word-building system, you progress much faster than with traditional languages.
• Brain Booster: Learning Esperanto makes acquiring subsequent languages easier.
• Global Community: Gain access to a welcoming, international network for cultural exchange.
• Fun: Enjoy a creative language filled with wordplay and community culture.
A Mutual Learning Group: This is an interactive group, not a traditional lecture. We’ll learn together through conversation, games, exercises, and challenges—focusing on active, social learning rather than textbook memorization. I can share my collection of resources in my Google Drive folder to anyone interested.
A personal note: I took an intro course years ago but am essentially starting fresh. I’m not an expert, so we’ll be learning together! I will organize activities, but participants should also expect to practice independently.
