A Loving Home Needed for Autumn-A True Cuenca Companion

At FAAN, our mission goes beyond rescue. Through shelter, prevention, education, and our vision to build Ecuador’s most modern animal sanctuary, we are working every day to help make Cuenca the City that Cares for animal welfare. And sometimes, that mission means standing beside loving families facing incredibly difficult decisions.
Today, we ask for your help for one very special girl… Autumn. 🐾
Autumn is a beloved 13-year-young Labrador mix who has lived a life full of love here in Cuenca. Due to unforeseen life circumstances, her devoted “Papa” must return to the United States and, with a heavy heart, has entrusted FAAN to find her the very best new home—one filled with the same love she has always known.
✨ About Autumn:
• Gentle, affectionate, and wonderful with people and dogs
• Fully trained—responds beautifully to commands
• Leash-trained and reliable off-leash in safe spaces
• Kept in a comfortable short “puppy cut.”
• A calm, loving companion perfect for a peaceful home
In a special act of love, Autumn’s Dad is also offering a $100 monthly stipend to support her ongoing care.
Rehoming a cherished family member is never easy. In our community, we see how life changes—especially later in life—can lead to these heartbreaking moments. That’s why FAAN is committed to supporting both animals and the people who love them, every step of the way.
