What happens to your donations of clothing and household items at Hogar de Esperanza? First and foremost, your donations are provided directly to individuals and families in our community who are most in need. We carefully ensure that each item reaches someone for whom it will make a meaningful difference.
Any additional items that remain after these direct donations are sold in our Esperanza Thrift Shop. All proceeds from sales at the thrift shop go directly back into supporting Hogar de Esperanza’s vital programs and services, continuing our mission to assist those facing poverty, illness, and other challenging situations.

We gladly accept all types of donations. You can drop off your items at the Expat Services Center, located at 9-78 Juan Montalvo, between Bolivar and Gran Colombia, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4:30 PM.

The company is CLICKBOX, and we bring purchases from abroad (USA, Europe, or China) to Ecuador.
People simply buy online from any website and use their warehouse address. We receive the packages, ship every Friday, and deliveries arrive within 4–5 business days.

From there, Clickbox notifies the client when we receive the package (photo + weight + details), and then we ship it to Ecuador and deliver locally.

To apply and to obtain the Permanent Visa, the Law in art. 63 establishes that the foreigner must stay 21 continuous months in Ecuador.
