Cuenca: It’s truly a city for the young
By Robert Bradley
This graceful Andean city, with its towering colonial architecture and centuries old mercados, pulsing with vigor and energy, provides a current that energizes, enchants and engages. It is a vibrant city adorned with a patina rich in texture.
It is also a young city. The squeaks and squeals of children are heard everywhere.
I spent the last few days searching. Here is what I found.

1. Adoration.

2. Sharing.

3. A busy woman and a sleeping child.

4. A dad who already knows, “I have double trouble”.

5. A happy baby.

6. A girl who could not decide which was more concerning, the goings on down the street or the gringo.

7. A kid and a cookie. ‘Nuff said.’
