CuencaHighLife is expanding its services by affiliating with InterNations.org, a website community that connects more than one million expats around the world.

ch InterNatonsFounded in 2007, InterNations hosts expat communities in 390 cities, including in Quito and Guayaquil in Ecuador, providing networking opportunities, and hosting more than 3,500 events every month. Plans are in the works to establish a Cuenca link as well.

Unlike other live-overseas websites which focus on selling conference seats, special reports, books, and real estate, InterNations offers services to those who know where they will relocate, tools for settling into a new home, and networking options for connecting like-minded expats. It also hosts events for expats in hundreds of overseas locations.

InterNations is actively building an expat base in Ecuador following its 2014 “Best & Worst Places for Expats” survey that ranked Ecuador the number one expat country in the world. See below for the link to the survey.

InterNations provides guides to popular expat destinations, helps connect expats with employment opportunities, and provides tips and information on a wide variety of topics important to expats.

InterNations describes itself as, “A place where international people like you meet, connect, and exchange information. A welcoming community of open-minded individuals who share your experiences. A secure space full of useful advice from fellow expats and knowledgeable locals. A world of opportunities to network and find friends who will explore your new surroundings with you, wherever you are in the world. You’ve just found that place.”

CuencaHighLIfe will share ideas and content with InterNations, posting articles and announcing projects and events we feel are relevant to our readers in Cuenca, Ecuador and around the world. We invite our readers to check out the services offered by InterNations: click here.

And stayed tuned. There’s lots to come from the CuencaHighLife – InterNations affiliation.
