What: Good Grief — a conversation on living abroad (free)

When: Fri, April 17, 2026, 3:00 pm

Where: Abraham Lincoln Center, Cuenca (Presidente Borrero 5-18 y Honorato Vazquez, Abraham Lincoln Center)

A small, in-person conversation space is opening in Cuenca next week, exploring the subtle side of living abroad.

Good Grief: When the life you imagined changes — is a relaxed, guided space for those navigating transitions, identity shifts, or the in-between phases of life that don’t always have clear language.

Living abroad can bring meaningful change, but also unexpected challenges, and moments where things don’t unfold as imagined, or where familiar systems of support feel distant.

This space is an opportunity to reflect on those experiences in a simple, human way.

It’s not therapy, and it’s not meant to be heavy, just a place to share if you’d like, explore language, or simply listen alongside others who understand.
