Otras cosas –

Titular – Sin apoyo la eventual alza del IVA (Eventual IVA increase without support) – The possible increase of the IVA from 12% to 15%, which is part of the economic measures the national government is preparing, doesn’t have support in the Asamblea nor the business sector. The response has been warnings about strikes and stoppages. <There are more articles if you want to go to www.elmercurio.com.ec.>

Forecast – INAMHI has forecasted heavy rains this month which will continue to 4/2020. Emergency declaration – And emergency declaration has been extended for the Los Pinos Altos sector in the ciudadela Jaime Roldós where there was a major slide in 2012 that took out 15 houses. Municipal studies show that the fault can be stabilized and has identified a 3.3 hectare zone where the city should do slope protection work on the vía to Sinincay.
