Hearts of Gold is holding another fun event !
Come chat with your friends, or meet new friends, with lots of yummy food (if your plate gets emptied, our volunteer ‘waitresses’ will fill it up again!) and tea.
We will also have a bartender available for those who would like a glass of wine or beer. All drink proceeds go to the wonderful Kolo restaurant that is providing free space for this event. The event will start at 3.00PM.
For those of you who are not familiar with what we do, for 10 years we have promoted the skills and capacities of women, children, teenagers and individuals in vulnerable situations, and not for profit organizations through empowerment and continuous training, ensuring their integral development, promoting social inclusion and equal opportunities. Our programs include the Change Makers, the D’Ellas, a social project that aims to empower women, Special Emergency Services, In the face of natural, environmental, social and health disasters and my favorite, All Children Deserve to Dream, focused on empowering children and teenagers, working on their self-esteem through art therapy, guiding them to choose a sustainable career, and fulfilling their dreams.

All foreigners of all nationalities who are irregular in Ecuador, on March 22nd 2023, the Presidential Decree was issued for the regularization of foreigners who are irregular in Ecuador. Note; for this regularization certain requirements must be followed, one of them is your registration at the link www.estoyaqui.ec
This regularization period will start on June 23rd, 2023 and will last 8 months for foreigners who want to regularize. The Regularization will be through an exception temporary residence visa or also called visa Virte.

If your visa has expired and you are irregular, pay attention to the following recommendation:
DO NOT pay any penalty at Immigration, because if you do, they will give you 30 days to leave the country. Currently, the payment of the penalty does not guarantee that you can apply for a visa, you must leave the country.
If you are irregular but have plans to apply for a visa, wait, there will be a new date for regularization very soon. After the provision for regularization is published, you will be able to pay the penalty.

Meet Blondie! This beautiful little girl was found in the rain in Baños on April 27th. She was shivering and very skinny. She was scared and hungry – couldn’t look away. She is a big lover! She is petit lady, weighing 16lbs and is approximately 1.5 years old. She’s a big cuddle bug, loves to lay in your lap and give kisses. I had her checked out at the vet. She’s treated for fleas and parasites, but appears to be in great health. She’s already gained weight since I picked her up.
She has had babies before so she will be spayed prior to adoption. Gets along with other dogs and cats. Loves to play, but being a young dog, over all she is surprisingly calm. She plays fetch and loves a good chew toy. She walks on a leash and doing very well with it. She appears to be potty trained as well. She did bark at another small dog on the street once, not sure why. I can recommend a trainer if needed. But she is lovely with my large dog and 2 cats. No issues at all at home. She seems friendly with all, including kids. If you’re offering a lap, she’s ready to cuddle.
She will make someone so happy. I’d keep her if I could! She’s a real gem and will be a lovely companion to the right person.

Great care is taken to make sure that they get exactly what they need. To apply and to obtain the Permanent Visa, the Law in art. 63 establishes that the foreigner must stay 21 continuous months in Ecuador.
