I recently enjoyed a fabulous four days with my son in the Amazon, near Puyo.
We were the guests of Michael Vargas, a very old soul, and remarkable man.
The accommodations are rustic, but comfortable.
I learned so many things about the indigenous way of life, from the food they ate, the technology they have developed over the last over the last 2000 years, and the pleasures of their daily life.
Michael had different interesting and enjoyable activities scheduled for each day I was there. From hiking to waterfalls, watching how native handicraft is done, shopping at a very authentic indigenous gift shop, etc.
To me the highlight of the trip, was the celebration of my son’s birthday. Michael supplied the cake, I supplied $20 for whiskey, and my son had a birthday he will never forget, surrounded by a whole coterie of new best friends.
Michael truly knows how to treat his guests as if they are his family, and he loves doing so.
Michael is not only a fabulous host, but he is also building his own sustainable community. His intention is to be able to supply all of his guests solely from his land. He told me his next project was to to get several beehives so he will not need to buy sugar.

Hi, I’m Ray Huntley. I am the owner of the two Osaka Ramen restaurants on San Sebastian Plaza. We opened our first restaurant there seven years ago, and four years later, when we became too busy at that location, we opened a second a few doors away to serve our many diners better.
We are offering these investor a unique combination of free sushi (or Ramen, stirfry, etc), combinated with a very high return on their money.
In terms of return on your money, we offer returns of 12% to 15%. The rate is determined by the size of your investment and the time you are willing to keep your money with us.
Now for the sushi. Each investor shall receive free sushi for themselves and three of their guests as long as they keep their investment with us. The larger their investment the more free sushi.
